4Life Healthcare Services - Qualified to provide outstanding service

QUALIFIED TO PROVIDE OUTSTANDING SERVICE

Clients and families can be confident that we employ all of the necessary protocols to ensure each of our carers is adequately trained and equipped with the skills to look after your health, safety and welfare at home.

4Life Healthcare Services - The recruitment process

THE RECRUITMENT PROCESS

Our rigorous recruitment and vetting procedures encompass enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks, prior to recruiting all staff. All candidates must supply at least two relevant employment references, one character reference, and details of their skills, experience, proof of identification and eligibility to work in the UK.

During interview stage, our recruitment team thoroughly asses all paperwork to check candidates' suitability for the role, whilst also getting to know them on a personal level, in order to match our clients with like-minded carers.

We employ all of our carers directly, so you can be assured that you will receive care and support from a qualified member of the team who has been professionally selected, vetted and trained by us. This includes training to the 4Life philosophy of care and culture.

4Life Healthcare Services - Quality Assurance

QUALITY ASSURANCE

We comply and remain up-to-date with all current healthcare industry standards and regulations, and take all Quality Assurance procedures very seriously. We spend dedicated time developing our quality of care and compliance, to ensure you feel safe and supported at all times.

As a registered provider of Domiciliary Care and Complex Care, we have a set of designated principles that all team members must adhere to, including unreserved commitment to providing an expert, secure, well-led service that protects and meets the needs of all adults within the community.

4Life Healthcare Services - Gaining care qualifications

GAINING CARE QUALIFICATIONS

We continually train our staff to understand, grow and deliver as a team, whether they are new to the 4Life family, or have been with us since the beginning.

Our comprehensive induction and training programmes ensure staff meet the appropriate standards required to fulfil their duties efficiently and effectively.

Before they can work independently, all new recruits undergo shadowing by an experienced member of staff which is overseen by a Care Manager, until both they, and we, are confident they can work alone.

New carers receive full support in gaining qualifications in NVQ level 2, 3, 4, and 5 Diploma in Health and Social Care, with the designated care certificate required to be completed within the first 12 weeks of employment. This certificate maps out a set of standards which all social care workers must adhere to, issued by Health Education England and Skills for Care.
